Nameka Katumbi

A self-motivated, responsible and hardworking young man with excellent facilitation and communication skills. Passionate in Communication for Development, he has worked for more than 6 years in project implementation and communications in both Climate Resilience, Policy, Research and Advocacy projects. Trained by International Union on Forest Research Organization (UIFRO), he has vast knowledge and experience in designing and implementing Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR), Agroforestry (AF), Community forestry (CF), homestead afforestation and forest management. An Assistant Projects Officer at JCED, Nameka focuses on Communication for Development for the Centre. He Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry from the University of Malawi and Certificate in Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
