A passionate environmental scientist and community development worker with 8 years of experience of working for community empowerment and transformation of people’s lives. Mr. Tione Phwandaphwanda joined JCED in 2016 and has been serving in supervising and managing projects. His current key role is managing the implementation of a resilient building pilot project called Tasintha Mlimi which JCED has been implementing in Kasungu District from 2022 and ending in 2023. Mr. Tione Phwandaphwanda is an expert in Climate change and Sustainable Agriculture practices. He has vast experience in interventions that build the resilience of the communities to the impacts of climate change.
